Five Principles of Dialogue

Listening is the first step in making #dialogue effective, our strategic ally Leadership Insight Out’s George Kohlrieser, distinguished professor at IM D Business School, explains. The Chinese character for listen contains the sub characters of heart, eye and ear, all of which we must use to truly listen. We must understand correctly what the other person is saying, by inquiring and asking questions. Conflict negotiations can therefore be solved by asking for feedback while focusing on the relationship, rather than the issue being discussed.

The Renaissance Executive Forums Community has access to top programs from best-in-class strategic partners. Thanks to Alan Gegenschatz, OutObox Founder and REF Partner, the Leadership Insight Out program gives our members the opportunity to #connect with select #leaders worldwide and learn from masterclass professors from top universities, including Harvard, Singularity and Stanford.
